I met with my mentor today. I had to wait in the lobby of the school until she arrived. When she arrived she went around to the school to talk to some of the people that she knew. Before we left my mentor came to talk to Mr. Girtz before we left. Once she arrived we discussed on what we were going to have for lunch. We then went to Zaxbys. We parked in the mall parking lot and ate. After we finished eating we just talked for a while.
My mentor asked me "Why did I want to become a nurse?" I told her that it was a life long career that I always wanted to do. I told her my family history on why I wanted to become a nurse. She told me that she is a Registered Nurse. She told me a little about her family and I told her a little about mine.
Once I arrived back at school, I had to get some paperwork about my senior project filled out by my mentor. I took her to see the childcare room and to see my daughter. I couldn’t go in there because my daughter would cry. She left after that and I continued the rest of my class. It took a couple of weeks for us to meet again.
